“Ohne Alkohol” – Nature Trailing in London

‘Sup ladies, gents and everything in between, Declan here…this is the first in a hopefully weekly photo update on my weekend activities wherever I may be in the world. I’m documenting my turn from weekend pub crawler to something more productive and so, to show off my crap German skills, I’ll be calling this periodic “Ohne Alkohol”.

As adventurous and liberating as my drunken weekends around London have been for the past 7 years, I turned thirty recently and doing basically the same shit every weekend was starting to get boring!

So, I’m out to see more shit and do more shit at the weekends (not to mention saving money for my travels by laying off the booze) and I’ll let y’all know how I get on right here.

I had my I-Pod Touch with me on Sunday when I was out jogging and so I got snapping for this inaugural post of “Ohne Alkohol”. The photos show why the route I took is one of my favourites in London. It starts in off in Finsbury Park….

It has one of the coolest beer garden/alcoves in London and its walls are covered in music based artwork and stencilled lyric quotes, inside and out. Definitely worth a look whether you’re living “ohne alcohol” or not…
